This trip gives you room to focus on the fishing, with your guide offering support and instruction throughout the outing. Head toward nearby reef structures in a Hobie pedal-drive kayak and adjust your approach to the conditions. You might help catch live bait, troll with bait or lures, fish with frozen bait, or let bait drift while you watch for a bite. King mackerel, red snapper, and other offshore species may be in the area. The experience is hands-on from launch, with your guide helping you work through the options instead of sticking to a single technique. Bring sun protection, drinks, and personal items. A Florida fishing license is required.

Hobie Outback Kayak

5 hrs

Help Catch Live Bait, Then Head for Navarre’s Offshore Reefs

Explore shallow flats and oyster bars from your own Hobie pedal-drive kayak, with your guide offering hands-on help along the way. You can try lures or bait, and learn when to fish near the bottom or let bait drift naturally. The approach can change with the conditions, giving you a chance to practice different techniques while looking for redfish and speckled trout. Fishing from separate kayaks makes this a more active way to share the water, with room to cast and learn as you go. Bring sun protection, drinks, and any personal items you’ll need. A Florida fishing license is required.

Make Your Way Through the Flats and Oyster Bars

Settle into your own pedal-drive kayak and fish at a hands-on pace, with the freedom to start casting as soon as you launch. Your guide can help you catch live bait, then adapt the approach to the conditions, whether that means trolling, fishing with frozen bait, letting live bait drift, or working the bottom near reef structures. King mackerel, red snapper, and other Gulf species may be on the menu. Rods, reels, and tackle are provided, so you can focus on the water and the fishing. Bring sun protection, drinks, and any personal items you’ll want with you. A Florida fishing license is required.

Pedal Into the Gulf’s Reef Action

Explore the shallow water in a Hobie pedal-drive kayak, moving through grass flats, creeks, and around oyster bars with your guide close by to offer step-by-step instruction. You can learn to cast lures or try live and frozen bait, with the approach adjusted to the conditions. Free lining and bottom fishing are also options. Redfish and speckled trout are among the species you may encounter as you work these sheltered inshore areas. The private, hands-on format gives you time to ask questions and practice each technique as you go. Bring sun protection, drinks, and any personal items you’ll need. A Florida fishing license is required.

Build Your Skills Across Flats, Creeks, and Oyster Bars

Bring your own kayak and fishing gear for a hands-on day on the lake, with your guide offering instruction as you fish. Practice casting, trolling, free lining, or fishing near the bottom, adapting your approach to the conditions. Bass, catfish, and other freshwater species may be around, and the guide can help you explore productive areas and build confidence with each technique. Meeting details are arranged individually, so confirm your launch location with the guide before the trip. Bring sun protection, drinks, and any personal items you’ll need. Every participant must have a valid fishing license. Contact the guide to discuss other freshwater options or a customized trip.
